Spring is here and I am excited to be pulling out some lighter clothes! Since I have been wearing Leena fairly often and recently had a friend text to tell me how much she is loving it too, I decided to share the good news about this darling midi-dress!!!

Let me start by saying that I tend to shy away from fitted dresses, no body-skimming silhouettes for me. I feel more comfortable in a dress that flows away from the body in at least one area. Typically if the dress has a fitted top, I like the skirt to be flowy.

When the Leena dress came into the shop, I immediately loved the ombre grey color and when I felt the buttery-soft fabric I just had to try it on!  I was completely surprised that I LOVED the silhouette! The ruching on the sides is flattering to my curves but also keeps the fabric from hugging every bump...just what I hate about other fitted dresses!  I am pretty sure I wore the dress to church the very next Sunday. I have to say that for personal preference I hand stitched up the side slits...took all of 3 minutes and now I just adore this dress!

Here are three of my favorite ways to wear the Leena dress and my favorite pieces to pair with it!

Look 1...Going out!

I love this dress paired with our Helena Gladiator Sandals. These two are seriously a match made in Heaven! My husband was a big fan of this outfit for our date night. I have also worn the dress with a toned down heel for church which completely changed the vibe. ;-) And how about that side shot pic?! LOL Our neighbors dog was barking and I am always so scared that it's gotten out...anyway, you can see where I stitched the side but on the model pics you can see the slits.

Look 2...Running Errands...

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Jordan wedge sandals are the most comfortable shoe I own! Adding inches of height and staying comfortable is typically not possible at the same time but these shoes accomplish that lofty goal! Anyway...I am crazy about kimono cardigans so pairing Leena with the Jackie created the boho vibe I love! The Janell would actually work just as well. This is an outfit I could wear again and again.

Look 3...#Momboss!

Playdates at the park and an afternoon watching my son play baseball doesn't mean I have to wear yoga pants and a t-shirt (not that there is anything wrong with that and give me a high five when you see me at the park in said uniform) but truly this dress with the Stella jacket and its amazing pockets is just what I need when I am chasing kids and carrying all of their countless accessories!

Now grab one before they are gone I tell ya..and let's twin! Be sure to tag us on Instagram with #piperstreetstyle so we can see your style!

xoxo,

Sarah

PS - If you aren't one to wear grey, you'll love the Leslie which is a gorgeous plum color.
